The 42-year-old was put on the spot as she arrived at the BAFTA TV Awards 2018 at the Royal Festival Hall in London’s Southbank Centre last night.
It came as the Big Brother presenter paused for an interview with Roman, 25, who was co-hosting the red carpet live stream alongside BBC Radio 1 DJ Clara Amfo.
After introducing himself, the star asked Emma to play a game of “Snog, Marry, Avoid” with three celebrities.
The light-hearted segment saw The Voice UK presenter have to reveal which of the three stars she would “snog, marry or avoid”.
As Emma expressed her disappointment about being roped into the game, Roman said: “Of course, you’re aware of the parameters of this game.
“Snog, marry, avoid: Ross Kemp, Martin Kemp and Roman Kemp.”
After pausing to consider her decision, Emma soon replied: “So, I would avoid Ross Kemp.”
Teasing the star for her quick reaction, he quipped: “Oh, that was quick!”
The mother-of-three, who is married to singer Matt Willis, went on to explain what had made her choose to “avoid” the former EastEnders actor.
“Yeah well, he’s like Grant Mitchell [in EastEnders] isn’t he? So a bit scary,” she stated.
Emma went on to confess that she struggled to attribute the “snog” and “marry” options to Roman and his father Martin.
Revealing why she wouldn’t be able to wed the former EastEnders star, who played Steve Owen in the BBC Soap, she considered: “Well, your dad’s married, as much as he’s very handsome.
“Oh, but that means I’ve got to snog him though, if I don’t marry him. Oh, this is awkward.”
Pushing her for an answer, the radio DJ insisted: “You can’t say my dad on both.”
Struggling to answer the question, Emma went on to ask Roman whether she could marry and snog him, to which he declared she couldn’t.
Appearing concerned that viewers would take her answer seriously, she asked: “This is just hypothetical right?”
Poking fun at his dad, Roman joked: “Do you want the old bull or the young calf?”
Eventually coming to a decision, Emma revealed she would choose the Capital FM star to be her husband, cheekily stating: “Well, I do like a young man, so I’ll marry you.”
Elsewhere on the red carpet, Doctor Who actress Jodie Whittaker was left very taken aback after she was accidentally snubbed by her co-star Bradley Walsh.
During an interview with Roman, the presenter told her he had spoken to the 57-year-old actor just minutes earlier.
Shocked to hear he had already arrived on the red carpet, she teased: “Oh, is he already there?
“He didn’t wait for me then did he?”
