The Duchess of Sussex is celebrating her first birthday as an official member of the Royal Family.
However, the occasion wasn’t marked on social media by her close friend Abigail Spencer, who shared a birthday tribute to another pal instead.
The two met on the set of Suits when it first began in 2011 where Abigail played Dana Scott and Meghan starred as Rachel Zane.
Abigail also attended Meghan’s royal wedding to Prince Harry back in May and walked into the ceremony alongside Priyanka Chopra.
But the actress, who shares the same birthday with Meghan, failed to mention Prince Harry’s wife.
In a post uploaded on Instagram, Abigail wrote: “Sweet sister… I choose you! HBD friend. confidant. teacher. dancer. @viennacarina what a woman you are. adore you. follow @mindfulmft for the good stuff.”(sic)
She also reposted snaps from her pal on her Instagram story about their birthdays.
One of them read: “My birthday twin, I love you so much.”
On another she wrote: “Happy birthday @viennacarina @mindfulmft.”
Meanwhile, Meghan looked incredible as she arrived for the wedding of Prince Harry’s close friend Charlie van Straubenzee and Daisy Jenks today.
Celebrating her birthday at the nuptials, Meghan appeared in great spirits as she beamed away and waved to the crowds at the ceremony in Surrey.
The royal opted for a navy frock for the wedding which fell into trimmings of lilac, pick and green on it.
She finished her dazzling look with a chic headdress to match her outfit.
Charlie was an usher at Harry and Meghan’s Royal Wedding in May, along with his older brother Thomas van Straubenzee.
And this time it’s Harry’s turn to play a big part in their day as he is Charlie’s best man.
The young royal looked typically dapper in a navy morning suit with pinstripe trousers and a pink tie.
The pair became friends when they both attended Ludgrove Prep School in Berkshire, where both he and his brother Thomas grew close to Harry and Prince William.
The couple’s nuptials comes four months after Harry and Meghan tied the knot.
They got married at St George’s Chapel in the grounds of Windsor Castle on May 19 in front on 600 guests and the world’s media.
Sarah Rafferty, who plays Donna Paulsen in Suits, previously spoke out about her friend’s nuptials which she said was “special”.
“It was a wonderful moment to get to see [Meghan] on that day and in that moment. It was special,” Sarah told Entertainment Tonight.
